What kind of sport would my Austrailan Cattle Dog be good at?
Q. My Austrailan Cattle Dog ( Chloe ) is a very fast runner. My mom thought she would be good at frisbee so she got her one but she doesn't play with toys and never chews on much of anything. Now we are thinking about Agility, but she is 3 years old , and I am wondering if it madders how old she is. She is a very athletic dog and she is also an escape artist. Please help me. Thank you.

A. An Australian Cattle Dog should be good at any sport you choose to train her for. Agility is an excellent outlet for her energy and three years old is still very young for this breed. Any dog can be trained at any age...there's no such thing as "too old." In fact, three years old is a great age to start agility. By now her bones and joints are done forming and you don't have to worry about hurting developing joints like you would if she were under two years of age.
